Queen’s ‘Fully Funded’ Commonwealth Trust Scholarship 2019 – Attend One Young World Summit London!

Again the One Young World Summit is upon us, and you can attend an all expense paid trip to the summit holding in London, UK, this 2019. A partnership between the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust and the One Young World offers scholarship to young leaders who are driving positive social impact in the Commonwealth. This scholarship affords them the opportunity to attend the OYW conference scheduled to take place 2019.

The aforementioned scholarship is aimed at supporting young leaders whose presence are actively felt in the following areas:

  • Creating healthier communities
  • Achieving change through sport
  • Increasing access to quality education
  • Preserving and protecting the environment

What the scholarship sponsorship provides:

  • Hotel accommodation (shared basis between 22nd October and 25th October 2019
  • Access to One Young World Summit 2019, holding in London, UK
  • The cost of travel to and from London. Your flight to and from London must depart from and return to one and the same international airport.
  • Catering which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • Transport between the Summit accommodation and the Summit venue.
  • Summit hand-outs and support materials.

Who’s eligible?

You are an eligible candidate for the scholarship if you:

  • Are between 18 to 30 years
  • Demonstrate capacity for leadership
  • Are addressing key local and/or global issues in your work
  • Have a track record of generating impactful and innovative ideas
  • Have an evidenced commitment to delivering positive change in at least one of the below areas:
  • Health
  • Education
  • Sport
  • Environment
  • Are a national (passport holding citizen) of one of the countries listed below:

Candidates who are believed to have the strongest attributes will be shortlisted around ending of May 2019. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by a member of the One Young World team.
